It was the summer of 1996 when we set sail from the coast of Tuscany towards Sardinia. After a six-hour journey we reached the wonderful, unspoilt shores of the island. At that moment we enjoyed not only the hot rays of sun on our backs, but also the warm and dry scents of Sardinian plants and the salty scent on our skin.

The ocean waves breaking on the shorelines brought with them a multitude of seashells of different sizes and shapes, depositing them on the shiny sand that spread out under the August morning sun. The air on this secluded beach was filled with a sense of carefreeness and freedom.

The waves of the sea, gently breaking on the shore, carried countless shells of all shapes and colors onto the sand, which glittered with the morning sun. On this lonely beach, one could feel the lightness and unlimited freedom in the air.
