The detox smoothies so popular in California are the inspiration for Sabazio's Pacific Chill. The blackcurrant is lively and fruity, as well as the concentrate of leaves, which is supported by notes of cedar and lemon. The changeable nature of the currant is enhanced by a mixture of coriander and ambrette seeds, basil, peppermint and orange extract. This gives a feeling like leaves brushing against the skin. Carrot essence softens the effect of the green tones of blackcurrant and shimmers with creamy, velvety accents of apricot, date and fig. This gives the scent depth and structure. A hint of May rose adds floral sweetness and seals the connection, explains master perfumer Mr John Brown.
